If you have experienced coaching then you already have a sense of what it is, but have you tried to put it into words or tried to define it?

We like to describe our style of coaching as: - enabling the client to clarify the direction they want to move in, and finding solutions to develop both themselves and their business. In addition motivating the client to take action to change, move forward and achieve the success they are looking for.

Coaching makes the assumption that you have the answers and it isn't about getting more knowledge or being told how to run your business. As coaches we don't judge or give advice, what we do is listen, encourage and ask challenging questions to unlock your potential to think through difficult decisions, to widen your thinking and create new solutions, to build confidence for change and generate the success that you define. Coaching enables you to apply your knowledge and your skills to get the best for your business, whether it is skills you forgot you had or new ones that are hard to embed in everyday life.
To really understand what coaching is or what is can do for us, we believe it is best experienced.

What are the advantages of Coaching?

  • Creates a safe environment for self-exploration, leading to greater self-awareness and self-improvement, without loss of face.
  • Approach is non-directive and focussed on the individual being coached.
  • Set duration with agreed outcomes and specific goals
  • Confidential, objective and non-judgemental at all times
  • Development activities are designed to suit the client's personal needs and learning styles. With solutions that fit with the individual's values and beliefs, not necessarily what worked for someone else.
